Due to the growth of the blockchain industry in recent years in terms of usability and popularity, Binance is committed to a major movement and encourages the teaching of this knowledge to accelerate the integration of this technology.
For this reason, Binance’s general manager for the North Latin America region, Daniel Acosta, signed an agreement with the Universidad de los Andes to jointly implement an academic program where Blockchain technology and web3 will be explained in detail.
The courses will be conducted in person; as well as in webinars, and will have all the information that Binance, the number 1 exchange in the world can provide, in addition to adapting to the pedagogical model that characterizes the Universidad de los Andes.
In the first phase, university professors will be trained so that they will be the ones to guide the students. This is detailed in the collaboration agreement between Daniel Acosta and Deans Rubby Casallas and Mario Sanchez.
“We are excited to partner with a leading institution in the region with the objective of educating and sharing our expertise in digital assets, web3 and blockchain” expressed Acosta.
The seminars and events will be given by Binance Academy and will address topics such as decentralization, Blockchain, Web3 and cryptocurrency.
It’s important to note that, for some years now, Binance Academy has been working on knowledge generation through its platforms, and on this occasion they crossed borders to bring their information to even more diverse audiences.
This collaboration is the first step for a joint initiative that aims at larger and long-term objectives; with the objective of strengthening the industry in the region.
